the other thing is , we must remember that a Bok squad is not “Rugby Idols”.
it is not a competition where we gather the best talent in the country together.
It is very specific players, for very specific reasons, hitting specific KPIs and roles, that a coach want for his specific game plan.
you won’t tell a chef to put garlic in his apple pie even if the garlic is really lekker.
regular reminder that dragging the Boks out of their deepest hole and winning a world cup 18 months later , winning a Lions series, winning a second World Cup, etc etc, and being possibly the best selector and developer of talent in world rugby, is still not enough for people to tell you you making a mistake when you release your latest squad
years from now when we all jumping down the throat of whoever the latest coach is , we can look back and at least say “even Rassie did not have enough credit in the bank” 😅

for the longest time the Bulls was the text book example of old school slow motion rugby. one off runners , ball to static players, and such.
now they are firmly coming into the modern era of attack where the laws reward teams who got enterprise 💪🏻
we got runners in motion , varying depth, coming at angles, interpassing, good soft skills, getting into space, and above all the ability to create tempo and play “on top of” the opposition.
with their recruitment and coaching, well done to Ackers and De Bruyn for how they have dragged that Blue jersey into the modern era 🔥

And SRugby makes it ten times worse
