Great memories. 7 marathons in 7 days back in 2019 starting at the Wolves ground with my family in attendance ❤️ what’s the next challenge? #anyideaswelcome
When your club opens the ground, just for our charity. When @Jacquesb10 ran 7 in 7 marathons. @Wolves

Teacher strikes view from a teacher. 1/many #TeacherStrike The strikes are about pay but absolutely more importantly, they are about giving schools funding to support the children properly. The support schools get is ever decreasing, support staff are diminishing due to…

Teacher strikes view from a teacher. 11/11 #TeacherStrike Without teachers, we don’t have a future generation. Teachers and teaching staff should be fully backed and supported with enough resources and equipment to support the children alongside fair pay. Back your teachers

Teacher strikes view from a teacher. 10/many #TeacherStrike If teachers have it that easy, you can happily get the qualifications to start this career and then come back and tell me it’s easy. I don’t know a harder working and more caring bunch of workers/professionals

Teacher strikes view from a teacher. 9/many #TeacherStrike I am NOT striking tomorrow, but that’s because I feel guilty if my class weren’t able to come in. Teachers don’t teach for the money, they teach to help and inspire. But at least in fair working conditions, right?

Teacher strikes view from a teacher. 8/many #TeacherStrike There is a reason that 1 in 3 teachers quits within the first 5 years of teaching and that there is a scary shortage of teachers leaving the profession. Workload and stress levels are so high now and for what?

Teacher strikes view from a teacher. 7/many #TeacherStrike Teachers do NOT work 9-3. Never. Impossible. I work 7-6 most days and every Sunday eve. The job is about a 60 hour week minimum and we’re paid to work for 32.5 hours per week on our contract.

Teacher strikes view from a teacher. 6/many #TeacherStrike Not a single teacher wants to strike. However, the workload is actually beyond a joke now. Teachers are now counsellors, therapists, food supplies, care workers, miracle workers etc. The demands are higher than ever

Teacher strikes view from a teacher. 5/many #TeacherStrike Teachers worked ALL THROUGHOUT lockdown. Schools were NOT shut. Vulnerable children were IN school. Online learning was HELL. It was a really rubbish time, but we were expected to mix with 15-20 in classes during this.

Teacher strikes view from a teacher. 4/many #TeacherStrike The ‘payrises’ that teachers got the other month isn’t from the government. It comes directly from the school budgets, further decreasing funding around the school for those things such as heating, fixing leaks etc.

Teacher strikes view from a teacher. 3/many #TeacherStrike Which is meant to last until summer term. This means I either buy them myself or the children miss out or the level of teaching drops. Ultimately the teachers buy the stuff because the other 2 options aren’t options

Teacher strikes view from a teacher. 2/many #TeacherStrike Due to awful pay and demands, where they can get paid more working in a supermarket, but are expected to give the world in a school. Supplies are beyond a joke. I have no whiteboard pens or glue sticks left…

Unbelievable. What technology we have these days 👏🙌
"The scariest day of my life." Charlie Wyke suffered a cardiac arrest in training in November last year, but made his return for Wigan against Birmingham City last week. 🙌

Could South Africa not be bothered to get anything in red on their attire for the cricket today to support #RedForRuth and Andrew Strauss in the cricket? Really poor from them! @OfficialCSA @SkyCricket
