Although the Ziro Festival of Music is a forerunner to discover bands from the North-East, it isn't the only one. There are places that host live gigs, like the pioneering The Evening Club in Shillong, The Maroon Room in Guwahati, 13 Old Spirit in Itanagar, among others.
