Mahomes got absolutely blasted and crawled about 6 yards to recover the fumble you have to respect it

Is this 1-for-1 a win-win? 🤔 (via fanspo.com)

Joe Burrow’s velocity is just like completely gone. He never had a rocket arm or anything, but he looks like Philip Rivers did last year. I have no idea what happened.

Yaxel Lendeborg on going to the line 12 times tonight which is something Jimmy Butler is particularly good at: “Yeah, just seeing the way the NBA is, man, I guess a lot of fouls, a lot of free throws. So, I mean, I think I got to just adapt to what this is evolving to be. I’m going to learn all the sweep-throughs and all the bump and flops. Eventually, I’m going to get good at it and be able to shoot as many free throws as possible.”

Officiating aside, it is insane that the Vols played 8 straight games with no bye, capped off by a road game at SC immediately after the third Saturday in October (with SC coming off a bye).

We have to discuss ESPN’s management of their SEC deal. The deal itself was brilliant, they locked down the SEC, and they got Chris Fowler, Joe Tess, and Kirk Herbstreit. However, what ths hell are they doing beyond those guys? Greg McElroy for color? Wes Durham/Dusty Dvoracek as the number two? Are they actively trying to run off viewers?

I don’t want to hear a word about George MacIntyre today or anytime soon. He pitched a gem in his first ever road game against a legitimately good opponent, and he had two beautiful touchdown throws called back. He’s the guy, and that is that.

I was fully on board with the legalization of sports betting when the flood gates opened. Shortly thereafter, I was totally convinced it was a mistake because of the *possibility* of skullduggery and rigging of games. The day has come where that fear has come to reality. UT-SC.

Not kidding when I say this is the worst officiated football game I’ve ever seen

Can the South Carolina fans at least agree with me that this commentating crew is the worst in college football?

It’s hard to tell live, but it certainly looked like Tennessee started the game with their middle backers (Campbell, Carter) spying LaNorris Sellers. SC comes out running a bunch of five wide sets coupled with a TON of screens, underneath routes, etc. Jim Knowles’ counter? Have Jeremiah Telander line up at edge with three DL and spy Sellers and have Qua Moss line up as basically a safety and spy Sellers. And I’m not quite sure it could have worked better. Just a complete and total maniac at DC for the Vols. God I love this dude

Tennessee has scored six touchdowns today. Three have been taken off the board. I am ready to ride into Valhalla with the David Smith tin foil hat Vols fans. This is clearly bullshit.

LFG Braylon!!!
Throw is behind him and that one is definitely on Gmac, but man Staley has gotta make a play at some point this year

Xavier Gilliam: - jammed the RG into the backfield; - jumped up to bat down / defend the slant; - sealed the edge; and - ran down and sacked LaNorris Sellers 1-on-1 in space on 4th and 3. Truly one of one. He’s such a unicorn of a defensive tackle. #GBO

This was all the same play by the way. Alright I’m done. I selfishly need to stop pushing this agenda so he comes back next year.
