Lincoln Kienholz waited THREE YEARS to make his first college start.
He went to Ohio State. Sat behind some of the best QBs in the country. Never started a game. Never transferred somewhere just because the job was guaranteed.
Then Louisville finally gave him his shot.
Three starts later, he just led the Cardinals to a 41-31 win over #16 SMU in one of Louisville’s biggest home games in YEARS.
Sometimes you aren’t “behind.”
You’re just waiting for your opportunity. 🥹
What a story.
Exact same play as his roll out touchdown throw to McCoy last week against Villanova. Fake screen to get the safety to bite. On another note, maybe the only good play call Brohm has called thus far. Let Kienholz sling it!! #louisville #smu #ACC
