Is there such a thing as a partial ACL tear? Can it be treated successfully with conservative management? Just some questions discussed at tonight's virtual CPD with the @bodysetuk team & @ianmcdermottLSO. Thanks to @JamesBPhysio for inviting us. #kneeinjury #ACLinjury #physio

I still see young female athletes in my clinic who think it's normal to lose their period during heavy bouts of training. Fired up, I made this infographic to educate coaches, parents, and athletes misconceptions on hormonal contraception & bone health. Feel free to share 🦴💪

Simple, progressive exercise for the management of occupational MSK pain. Only 1 set, 5x/wk, completed at work, 67% very much/much improved after 9/52. While bigger studies required, this type of research looking at easy to implement rxs is to be promoted. sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

I cannot believe this hasn’t even made it to home page of @thecsp . Private Physiotherapists are not being allowed to work and are into the second month without pay. What publicity and support would you give our public sector members if they were being asked to work for no pay!

"We're looking at insolvency". The London businesses days away from going bust. One in 5 physios say they won't make it to the end of the month. They're calling for the same emergency business rate relief given to other companies by government. @RagsMartel reports.

I don’t usually rant on social media. However, after a week of service in the ICU, I’d like to get a few things off my chest. #COVID19 (1/10)

Why not just give them paracetamol? they’re even cheaper than the malaria meds, and also not proven to cure Covid-19.

Split my trousers in the middle of a packed gym while showing a new patient a squat on the one day I forget my shorts. And I’ve got to cycle home. How’s your day going?

This patient came to see me for their hip arthritis. They had paid $4,000 for a stem cell injection and wanted to know if any of the cartilage had grown back. They said the chiropractor who injected them warned it might be too soon to see any change! 🤷‍♂️
