Sometimes, a fallen tree reveals more than you expect. CEO Marc Sale is roughly 1 km northeast of the Pettigrew shaft, where the team has taken him to another area identified through soil sampling. And, quite fortuitously, a fallen tree has opened up a new window into the geology. With its roots pulling back the overburden, the ground beneath has been exposed, revealing intense shearing and quartz veining - exactly the kind of geological features that can make an exploration team stop and take a closer look. CEO Marc Sale is out in the field with Brenden from EGS, heading into the Roy property for a closer look at the geology. The side-by-side can only take them so far. From there, it’s a 10-minute trek through some fairly tough terrain to reach the moored boat - with Marc taking on the easy job of carrying the life jackets, while Brenden gets to manhandle the outboard! 😄 Once the boat is launched, it’s across the lake towards the outcrop. And what a day for it - crisp autumn air, spectacular colours and perfect conditions for exploring. The journey is worth it. At the outcrop, the team finds some very interesting material to collect for assay, providing another useful piece of the geological picture and a positive lift for the exploration programme ahead. This is exploration in its most hands-on form - getting into the field, seeing the geology first-hand and building the understanding that shapes what comes next. 🔔 First Class Metals has reported significant progress in its 2026 exploration activities across its Ontario properties, with its newly developed geological model guiding the identification of visible gold in a grab sample approximately 1,100 metres northeast of the Roy shafts - a significant step-out from the area of visible gold previously identified through drilling. ➡️The Pettigrew property is advancing towards drill targeting with completed infill channel sampling, structural mapping, and VLF and soil surveys, with a proposed 1,000-meter drill program planned. ➡️Exploration at Roy has extended its footprint, and a three-year exploration permit has been granted for the Sunbeam property, which is also undergoing a drone survey with an AI collaboration LOI signed.
