Democratic blue wave has many people to thank, namely Donald Trump, but I think @hasanthehun is within that mix.
His ability to push the overton window has led to a new lease of life into the Democratic candidate pool.
He risked his reputation on it and has come out with the W.
This isn’t a good look and anyone who thinks it is should get their head out their arse. Embarrassing really !
I wish the political class would be honest with people like this on this rapidly changing economy.
If you sell pies direct to consumer online or physically in Lancashire, you’re probably not gonna have a successful business in 2026 and beyond.

‘John Healey, if you’re listening, where’s my breathing space?’
Business owner Paul Bowen has criticised the Chancellor’s promise to give ‘breathing space’ through measures in his Budget.

Watching City fans who allegedly 'don't care' about the charges and want to just focus on the Football are sure doing a lot of talking about things other than the football!
💼❓ “People will lose jobs… what about John who works the turnstiles?”
🙄 “Oh Do Me A FAVOUR!”
Man City fan Steven McInerney and Piers Morgan CLASH over club workers losing jobs if City were relegated.

Remember reading the Football Leaks YEARS ago and couldn’t believe what I was reading.
Without brave people like @RuiPinto_FL & @derspiegel, the sovereignty of English football would have been lost forever. Now, we have huge chance to serve justice.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Manchester City found guilty on virtually all charges relating to breaches of Premier League financial regulations. #MCFC expected to appeal against verdict issued by independent commission. Sanctions undecided, process ongoing @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7049721…
I think this confirms we're a lot tighter on SCR than its being reported and what we think.
Tomori or Tosin look more likely if Southampton don't want to play ball, which I don't think they will.
Also could effect Lewis Dobbin transfer, the higher we go. #avfc
New: Southampton have rejected an £18million+add-ons offer from #AVFC for defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis. #SaintsFC have higher valuation on 24yo. Harwood-Bellis among three options to replace Ezri Konsa, with Villa assessing. Story w/@David_Ornstein on @TheAthleticFC

All but confirmed by Tanswell here.
Higher we go for THB the less optionality we’ve got for an attacker unless we sell Bogarde, but that only really makes sense if we get a good deal for Grealish.

Is this guy a private equity sleeper agent?
EXCLUSIVE: Fifa's president Gianni Infantino is planning to sell stakes in the World Cup to private investors under a scheme that could potentially earn him tens of millions of pounds.
Investor discussions held with figures close to the Trump administration, say sources.

Really dangerous reporting. This is the kind of poor journalism that keeps us uncompetitive.

Datacentres in England use an estimated 6.6 million litres of drinking water every day.
Jon Chappel, Water UK’s deputy director, said this was “unforgivable” and a “genuine failing of government”.
theguardian.com/environment/…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Water lost to leaks in England and Wales was around 3 billion litres per day in 2024-25, according to government statistics. Data centres currently use less than a quarter of one percent of this amount.

Actually feel a bit sorry for @garyseconomics.
Brave documentary basically staring down those who disagree with him, mainly because they've got something to lose.

But the biggest telltails sign was the Reform donor, Bassim Haidar, basically saying he doesn't get out of bed for anything less than 12%-13% returns. PER YEAR.
UK population hasn't had a real terms payrise in a year anywhere near to that since before 2008.
Money makes money
Saying that about @DanNeidle, this is actually probably a fair assessment in the round and something I think @garyseconomics & @DanNeidle have an opportunity to flesh out in long form in the future.

Gary Stevenson clearly cares deeply about inequality, and passionately wants a wealth tax. But he is uninterested in the detail of either the problem or his solution.
He exaggerates his expertise, and his research is sloppy.
Given the size of his audience, that's a shame.
Smart political operator would assign £5m of security spend (peanuts in the grand scheme of things) to Farage and push for him to give back remaining ££
And if the major parties had a brain, they shouldn't contest the election.
