Excited to give these guys a go very soon.

Great to be back in my local @ScottCinemasUK last night. Ticket and a pint: £8.60, a friendly welcome, and no COVID weirdness. Hope everyone gets out and supports their local cinemas when they really need us.

This is the best thing ever to have been produced in my kitchen. Absolute game changer. Thanks @Als_Kitchen_ and thanks @nomadicrevery for the tip. #aceofbasegravy
Tofu Rezala is going down a storm. I didn't realise the POWER of the #Vegan 👍. Do us a favour and retweet this and get it out to as many Vegan forums as possible. Recipe here youtu.be/e0ugC4lduOc

As someone who spends an awful lot of time driving between Bristol and Bournemouth, and currently has an unexpectedly iced up fridge, this week’s @nomadicrevery and @elisjames podcast really was very on the nose.
Important question: I need to buy Canadian beer before Wednesday. Anywhere stock Molson, Labats, Sleeman, Moosehead in Bristol? #CanadaDay2020
Was out on my bike on Friday afternoon and hit up @TheCoffeeBox3, near Temple Meads. Was really excellent. Great addition for all the office workers when they return round there.

A massive good luck, and great to see you back, to all the retailers reopening today. #shopsreopening

Seem to have somehow ended up agreeing to go to about four different online pubs later, two of which have quizzes on. It’s basically an e-pub crawl. Quite excited.

Popped into these legends over the weekend and filled up bottles with beer. Totally failed to write down which beer went in which bottle, so just drank the lot. No regrets.
Yesterday we posted a picture of our first blackboard showing the beers we're selling in our new takeway format. We were asked to post a daily update. Well, we're not going to; it's too much of a faff - and where's the fun in that? Here's the second and - possibly last - picture

Having my standard thought after a holiday in Europe: why cant we, as a country, get our heads around the pizza-by-the-slice scene?

Used my phone to pay for things in a shop for the first time the other day. I had to get the very helpful assistant in Waitrose to talk me through it, and I've never felt older.

I'm all for seeing busy retail, but the queue of cars at Waitrose in Henleaze this morning, leads me to believe that Christmas has come as a surprise to an awful lot of people.

The Bristol restaurant cancellation scene makes my eyeballs boil.
Another last minute cancellation Table of 4 @ 8:00 Please RT
Very much enjoyed doing this yesterday. Do have a listen, even if just to hear my ill advised impression of Alan Partridge. Thanks to @laurasuter and @Dan_Coatsworth for having me.
🎙 NEW – This weeks episode of @MoneyMarketsPod @LauraSuter and @Dan_Coatsworth are joined by @JamesRetailHTC to chat about the latest events on global stock markets, the challenges facing Coca-Cola and why M&G has suspended dealing in one of its funds.

Great achievement. Is it too soon to say "Bristol institution"?

Not enjoying this #pizzaexpress news as they were one of the few who didn't go totally crazy on their acquisition plan, and they still serve a purpose on the High Street. Would leave an immense hole in leisure schemes across the land too.
