Jess Pegula had just finished practicing with Mirra Andreeva, Pegula then talks to her coach (Mark Knowles) not realising that the mics were on and starts vilifying Mirra and her coach Conchita Martinez;
"She (Mirra) acts like such a diva and needs to be humbled. Conchita eggs on her behaviour, I like Conchita, but I've lost respect for her. If my player is training well and is 4-0 up and winning, but turns on me and talks to me like that, I would have to say something to her...Conchita feeds that kind of behavior in her. She needs someone to bring her back down to earth. The girl's really good, but mentally she's a bit…hmmmm. If she had Cocos mentality she's be better than her."
What makes it even funnier is Pegula is a WTA players representative. 👀

The WTA admits failure to inform players of practice livestream microphones amid Pegula hot mic incident:
"The WTA takes full responsibility for failing to inform our players and their teams that microphones, in place to give fans a livestream of the players' practice, were active on the courts at the WTA Finals.
