Netflix have had an absolute stinker here. Built an entire concept on Luke Littler being practically unbeatable, to the point they even put in professional darts players to compete against him. Glad this fell at the first hurdle.
Social Media did to girls what they said violent video games were going to do to boys.
We are not going to tolerate threats to assassinate the president. Allison Albro, 21, Daytona Beach, is learning that the hard way. She posted this last night and got a visit from the @VolusiaSheriff Domestic Security Unit and the @SecretService. She said she was joking with this post, she doesn’t have access to a Glock or any other weapon, and she would never hurt anyone. Today she’s sitting in jail on charges of written threats to kill and unlawful use of a communications device. I would strongly advise anyone else thinking of posting a “joke” along these lines to think twice. VSO continues to work hand in hand with the Secret Service, FBI and all our law enforcement partners to ensure this presidential visit to Daytona Beach is a safe event for all who attend, and for our whole community.

Scott Peterson showed up at San Quentin's death row in March 2005. The guys on the yard already knew exactly who he was. One of them grins at the camera. "That's a trophy."
Christmas Eve 2002. Laci Peterson, eight months pregnant with a boy they'd named Conner, vanished from their home in Modesto, California. Scott told police he'd gone fishing on the bay that morning. He cried at press conferences. He went on TV.
Behind the scenes there was a girlfriend. Massage therapist Amber Frey had no idea he was married until the news broke. Then she started recording his calls for the police.
In April 2003 the bay gave them back. First the baby washed up on the shoreline. A day later Laci, a few miles away. Close to the spot where Scott said he'd been fishing.
Police arrested him near a golf course in La Jolla. His hair was dyed blond. He had about $15,000 in cash, four cell phones, two driver's licenses and camping gear in the car. Prosecutors said he was getting ready to run.
The jury convicted him in November 2004 and sentenced him to death.
In the video below, San Quentin inmates talk about what they'd do to him if they ever got close. "It wouldn't be pretty." One of them says he'd break something off in him, "preferably sharpened down." Even the guard is struck by him. He says he expected a monster and got a Wally Cleaver, a clean suburban guy. Most of the men in that building shunned him.
In 2020 California's Supreme Court threw out his death sentence but kept the conviction. In 2021 he was resentenced to life without parole. A year later he was moved off death row to Mule Creek State Prison. In 2024 the Los Angeles Innocence Project took his case and said new evidence proves he's innocent.
He has never stopped saying he didn't do it.
Was he a killer who almost got away, or is the most hated husband in America still sitting in the wrong cell?
