Landmark moment in life for Blake’s first game #NUFC 3 #EFC 2 - what a game for your first match! #NEWEVE
Imagine if Newcastle 3 Everton 2 was your first ever game - My 4 year son will never forget this... #nufc bit.ly/2TICwDm

Let’s be honest here, we all know what they’re waiting for before they press the button for the “New Manager Bounce”™️ - right #NUFC fans??
🚨 Régis Le Bris’ position as Sunderland Head Coach is safe — and he continues to have the full support and confidence of Sunderland’s hierarchy. 🇫🇷 The Frenchman remains central to #SAFC plans and ambitions, despite the club sitting bottom of the Premier League table. The belief within the club is the 50-year-old will turn things around. ⬇️ There is an internal recognition that recent Premier League results have been disappointing, and the club understand current frustrations felt by supporters. 🫡 The club believe stability, collective responsibility and a united approach is the way forward for #SAFC as they look to achieve their ambitions, both domestically and in Europe.

It’s become a perpetrated myth that the “big 6” (or 5 to be precise as #MCFC have never been welcome in it) were set in stone with the invention of football, as opposed to being at the top at the right time
Carragher may be right, Villa may never match Man United’s size. But before Shankly, neither did Liverpool. Look what he built! Why shouldn’t Villa have our own Busby, Fergie, Shankly, or Paisley? It’s a massive ask, but our absolute biggest chance of that is with Emery. #avfc

Never forget your roots son, right? You’ll always be a Geordie, no matter where you go. Cos this is the place that shaped you, and made you what you are alright? #aufwiedersehnpet

This draw, for me, decides the Carabao Cup. Really needed tough draws for Liverpool and Man City but likely both are in the semis and at least one in the final surely.
The Carabao Cup quarter-finals are set! 🏆 The ties will take place during the week commencing 14 December.

If anyone hasn’t seen Bruno’s penalty miss it’s exactly as you’d expect #NUFC

I read everything Harry Kane says in Harry Kane’s voice and I get on my own nerves
Work hard in silence. Let success be your noise. 🏆

Commentators in the Sunderland match seem to be after blaming the wind on the fact they’ve been forced to come to the wild North East as opposed to national weather warnings

I understand with their age profile it isn’t sustainable to keep Schar and Burn long term at the back. However, the organisation, leadership and willingness to put their head in or take a yellow for a clever foul is night and day to the silent defending seen so far. Hornicek and Gonzalez looked better with them too. Keep them in while the new signings settle in and the season stabilises. #NUFC

#NUFC with more wins in London than Newcastle this season. All 3 clean sheets in the capital as well. Fulham next away game 👏🏻

This is the sort of game that someone can win while playing badly, which can keep you away from a relegation fight. Could be telling whether it’s us or them (or 0-0, which it probably deserves) #NUFC

I love that Harvey Barnes is one of the only #NUFC players willing to have a go, but he really needs to learn that a well struck football cannot transgress solid matter, (i.e. if you blast it straight into someone it’ll rebound behind you)

Is this game a bit crap because of the weather or because it’s crap? #NUFC #CPFC

Saw this and thought “why did I say 14th?” Anything above 18th is the same outcome if you abandon any hope of Europe. Thinking about it though, something like 14th means you don’t have the spring/Easter of anxiety looking over your shoulder. See how we feel tonight #NUFC
Big question from Jamie in The Mag Pod’s most recent episode. Would you take 14th this season? What will the answer be after #NUFC face Palace on Sunday? 🎧 podfollow.com/themagpod

Hard agree. Thiaw imo is getting away with it as Botman taking the heat. It sounds regressive but Burn and Schar could calm that whole team down, offer leadership and organisation settle the newbies in and give the other 2 a rest and recalibrate. #NUFC
I actually think we should drop Thiaw and see if Botman fairs any better without him. Although I’d like both cannoned to the moon currently.

Spot on this. Slight worry when shortcomings are so obvious to people who haven’t seen a massive amount of #NUFC
"When they have the ball defensively, they are terrible!" 😟 Are Newcastle in trouble? ⚫️⚪️ #BBCFootball #NUFC
