This semester, I reluctantly made attendance in class optional & posted all lectures online. I received several emails from people with full time jobs, new parents, and people caring for loved ones saying that they could not have gotten through otherwise. Learning moment for me!

In light of CA’s ongoing commitment to equitably address college affordability, CA leaders must ensure that students with least resources who are awarded a #CalGrant don’t lose their aid due to unnecessarily restrictive satisfactory academic progress policies #PassAB789

When an organization doesn’t address harm, it’s on the person harmed to address it.
Sweeping issues under the rug only places the onus for restoration and healing on the person who was never granted justice or a chance to say they deserved better from the org.

I’m amazed when people call me radical for telling the truth about work.
Most of us were raised to be honest, but we lose that as adults.
I hold to my values w/ faith that truth will always prevail. I may not see the fruit of my truth in my lifetime, but I will speak up.
