3 years ago I naively believed that Jew hatred were mainly the ‘hobby’ of the few. That the world as a whole had moved on from such disgusting, irrational bigotry.

This is Arafat Irfaiya, a Palestinian terrorist from Hebron who brutally raped and murdered 19-year-old Ori Ansbacher on February 7, 2019.
Ori fought for her life with all her strength. He stabbed her three times, then dragged her roughly 150 meters through the woods as she struggled and screamed. He stabbed her again, gagged her with her own scarf, bound her hands, and brutally raped her. He inflicted multiple stab wounds across her body, killing her.
And even that wasn't enough for him. He sat beside her body, waiting for more Jews to come looking for her so he could murder them too.
When nobody came, he took her phone and fled. During his interrogation, he declared, "The murder was the best and most important thing I have ever done in my life."
The judges described his actions as "brutal and inhuman."
Ori was only 19 years old. Now look at that smile.

Amirhossein Maleki and Abolfazl Ebrahimi are in imminent danger of execution.
Their families were summoned to prison today for a final visit. These two young men, arrested in connection with protests in Isfahan, could be executed within hours.
Their death sentences were handed down after torture, forced confessions, and flagrant violations of fair trial rights.

This morning I was on #OxfordStreet for interviews with @BBCTomEdwards and @BBCLondonNews when an ambulance with siren and lights on came up Regent Street and wanted to turn left on to Oxford St.
The @TfL marshal didn't seem in any particular hurry and told them to find another route. They wasted 1 and a 1/2 mins. Let's hope it was not life-critical.
The barriers are supposed to be able to be dropped for blue light services but they have been padlocked, which makes that slow and difficult. Not that anyone tried this time.
There was a similar issue that I witnessed last week when an ambulance came south on one of the crossing points. In that instance, the paramedics gave up trying to get through and left the ambulance to run along the street to a lady who had fallen.
These issues need urgent resolution. There are few things that are more fundamental than making sure people are - and feel they are - safe.

🇫🇷 A man named Nasser B. has been arrested for critically wounding a French firefighter chief by shooting him while he was responding to an emergency call on a road near Marseille.
On Sunday, November 1, firefighters were called to extinguish a vehicle fire when the attacker opened fire on them.
The 51-year-old firefighter leading the response was hit in the chest and is in intensive care. Another firefighter was also targeted.
The shooter is 51-year-old Nasser B., who lives in an illegal settlement nearby. He was already known to police for armed violence.
He probably set the vehicles on fire himself and waited for the firefighters to ambush them.
