Weβre clowns apparently @Tykes_Tv @lukegoddardact π what did we say about having different opinions but ultimately weβre all Barnsley fans? Seems lost in this guy who feels it necessary to resort to childish name calling.

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we werenβt in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. βBut Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to riskβgetting lost in Hollywood for years and years?β. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in Londonβs West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.

Patrick Stewart was a professional hero of mine. Met him briefly once. Worked with some of his family. My sympathies to them and may he rest in peace.

We lost one of the greats of stage and screen today. And, in my book, a tremendous friend and man. I learned so much from him. I will miss you, Patrick Stewart, all of my days. @mang0ld
Every single Barnsley fan should be thinking about boycotting the Wednesday game!
What an absolute disgrace those ticket prices are π€¬ And this is only going to get worse. #Fact
Letβs start taking action now Tyke fans. I donβt care if youβve already got a season ticket, if you love the club, then you wonβt attend!
We need to come together as one and make a stand! #Facts

The funeral of Barry Murphy, our record appearance-maker, will take place on Friday 6 November.
Barry's family have kindly invited supporters to join them in paying their respects during his final visit to the club he loved so dearly. The cortège is expected to arrive at the stadium at approximately 2.00pm.
Further information including a book of condolences and how we plan to remember Baz on Saturday is available at barnsleyfc.co.uk. β€οΈ
I think itβs time to talk about Reyes Cleary tyke fans, and what an absolute disgrace heβs been this season! π€¬
His performances since the cup game against Liverpool have been inexcusableβhis work rate has been shocking, and he has produced absolutely nothing this season!
He clearly doesnβt want to be here, hence why he submitted a transfer request on deadline day. We must get rid of him in January whilst his value is somewhat high. @neeravparekh @BarnsleyFC
