Very proud of this fantastic student at my school who was so inspired by our recent sculpture project led by @DarrellWakelam that he went home and immediately made his own. We need arts opportunities in schools more than ever before!

So many books, so little time! Loved #LieorDie by @alisonclack1 and #TheLastThingYoullHear by @JanDunning1 last year and coming in May is a gorgeous YA #TheWycherleys by Annaliese Avery - I was lucky to get a sneak peek! #WriteMentor
It’s been an incredible week of creativity at my school - we all absolutely love the amazing work the children made with the super talented @DarrellWakelam - so many said it was the best thing they’d ever done 🥰
I've had a very busy week at Holy Trinity & St. Silas Primary, working with every year group to create a whole-school display. Here are their beautiful imaginary birds. 🙂

In my other life when not writing, I’m an art teacher - and this week I have the absolute pleasure of working with legend @DarrellWakelam on this fantastic sculpture project! So exciting to see such creativity coming from the children 💕🎨🖌️
I’m at Holy Trinity & St. Silas Primary this week, and for our project we needed some ‘imaginary birds’ . . . up stepped Year 6 🤩
