We used wp_safe_redirect() for the Connect button because it has "safe" in the name. It restricts redirects to approved hosts, so WordPress quietly replaced our sign-in URL with the admin dashboard. No error. Just back where you started.

65 centimeters. Below that, the kids in the study tended to stand side by side, facing the same way. Farther apart, they were more likely to face each other. And the switch was sharp, not gradual. Tap-tap: dev.to/eugeniya_ivanova_4a58…

Fun one: Notion can hand you `icon: null` on a read, then reject the same object when you send it back on a write. We now strip empty fields before every write.

A Canva review item titled "Buttons not full width" turned out to be a narrow dropdown that said "In an hour." No buttons involved. After that I opened the attached screenshot before reading the ticket title. Tap-tap: dev.to/eugeniya_ivanova_4a58…

One thing we were careful about with the Claude integration: a badly worded prompt can't publish anything. A post sits as a draft until you give it a publishing time.

The Claude directory flagged all 18 of our tools as "missing a title." All 18 had titles. MCP has two places for title: top-level Tool.title (added June 2025) and the older annotations.title. We used the new one. The portal checks annotations.title.

Review rounds I've been through: Chrome took two. Adobe sent us back with changes. Zapier had eight. Figma sent one email asking for a video of the plugin working, then published it. Tap-tap: dev.to/eugeniya_ivanova_4a58…

The pattern we keep following with Publora: instead of asking people to come to our app, put it inside the tool they're already in. Figma being the latest one.

The problem with having proper analytics in VSCode is that I can always dig properly. There's always another cohort, another weird number. Before the 10 a.m. brief I'd spend two hours analysing things to find out everything was fine. Tap-tap: dev.to/eugeniya_ivanova_4a58…

Two things I wanted in the IFTTT integration: no pasting an API key (you connect through OAuth and pick your accounts), and the publish event works as a trigger too, so you can push it into a spreadsheet, a notification, or your own endpoint.

When an IFTTT endpoint test failed, I expanded the row and got an empty box. The actual failures are behind POST /publish/endpoint_session for a session_id, then GET /publish/endpoint_test_results?offset=N. Results come in chunks until suite_end. Tap-tap: dev.to/eugeniya_ivanova_4a58…

phpcs: zero errors. Plugin Check: clean. WordPress directory review: approved. Installed it on a real site and nothing worked. The green checkmarks were checking whether we followed the rules, not whether the plugin did anything. Tap-tap: dev.to/eugeniya_ivanova_4a58…

Figma: one email asking for a video, we sent it, done. Canva: 47 days, 4 review rounds, 5 versions of the app. Same plugin, submitted in parallel.

You can now connect Publora to Claude straight from the directory. No API key, no config file to copy somewhere and immediately lose. Ask Claude to draft a post and it lands in Publora as a draft you can read, edit, or kill.

The portal said "live in the directory" the second we hit publish. The listing page said "This connector doesn't exist" for several hours. We had a support email written and not sent. It fixed itself. If this happens to you, wait before emailing anyone.

I spent days worrying that Figma reviewers would tear apart my plugin cover. The review guidelines don't mention how a cover looks at all. They check if the plugin is finished, if it crashes, if it does what the listing says, and if it's safe with someone's files.

Publora is now a Figma plugin. Design the post, write the caption, publish or schedule it without leaving Figma.

I'm not an engineer. I got to Claude Code because at 10 a.m. I wanted somebody else to check my numbers. The word "Code" in the name made me assume for months that it wasn't for me.

Publora works as the "that" in an IFTTT applet now. The one I use myself: new post shows up in my blog's RSS, IFTTT catches it, Publora publishes the announcement to the accounts I picked. No opening ten networks and pasting the same text.

The thing that ate most of my time: IFTTT's form generates an ingredient slug while you type the field name, and typing your own can leave you with contentcontent and occurred_atoccurred_at. The final slug isn't shown anywhere in the form. Check Tools > Export instead.
