Have you heard our episode with the one and only Jane Gallop? She takes us painfully near to the beating heart of vulnerability, as she tells us about her (and her writings’) consistent marking as narcissistic, and about her ongoing yet conflicting loyalty to psychoanalysis.

WATCH: In Nov 2013, @Giannis_An34 was a @Bucks rookie who’d yet to experience a WI winter.
It resulted in a @UWM professor giving him a ride to work as he attempted to run 3 miles to practice on the coldest day of the year.
Today, he’s a champion who hasn’t lost his humility.

On a freezing day in November 2013, Jane Gallop was driving her Honda Fit through Milwaukee when she saw someone running in a windbreaker.
She offered him a ride. He asked her if he could take him to the Bradley Center.
It was Bucks rookie Giannis Antetokounmpo.

This might be my claim to fame at this point.
If you've heard the story of a rookie Giannis Antetokounmpo wandering around Milwaukee in the winter without a jacket until a Bucks fan picked him up ... it was my aunt who drove him around.

I have a book review out of Jane Gallop's 'Sexuality, Disability, and Aging: Queer Temporalities of the Phallus'—a wonderful intervention that develops critical gerontology's growing awareness that time links sexuality and ageing together in complex ways.
