Remote Deck Launch ✨📢
The platform I've been working on for the better part of a year is now live! This is a powerful tool that allows your mod to manage your overlays, add images, audio, and video, and more, all without giving anyone access to your OBS.

Writing graffiti has been the single method that has finally brought back some sense of appreciation for my own art. Good vibes all around
Devs, dont shoot yourself in the foot doing shit like this.
You can build cool stuff without also doing creepy shit.
Hey so if you're going to make a plugin to connect Twitch to VRC, don't be this person.
Crystal Relay allows Twitch chat to control your avatar via channel points, subs, bits, etc. (Including changing to a different avatar on your account)
The plugin, however, has a backdoor for the developer, Screminpal, to have master controls over your avatar whenever they want and, from my personal experience, they will just do it without asking for your consent. You cannot turn off this backdoor btw. The dev can just come in and mess with you whenever they want and you have no control over it.
Their excuse is "It's clearly stated in the GitHub that I can do this"
github.com/seluvia/crystal-r…
specifically is the problem. everything else seems fine, but do you really NEED to authorize yourself to do what you want? Kinda weirdchamp

Bro the vtubers in my small ass sphere are doing dope shit all the time.
My favorite thing to see is how each of their communities stand out, and all the work they put in just for the smallest bits.
Keep killing it my 'tubers
Wow forever addon + obs plugin that lets you integrate directly with chat.
Twitch plays wow? Is that considered bot play? Lol
I finished up the OBS plugin for Remote Deck.
With the appropriate permissions for your producer, they can control your audio device levels, filters, and mute state.
All without ever connecting to your computer.
Have ideas for how this can go further? hit me up!
You'll need to set up your account in remotedeck.gg to use the plugin and provision the correct permissions for your producers (free 2 week trial so no stress if it doesn't work for you, wont cost you a thing!)
and the plugin github.com/JanitorPuppo/remo…
I added some analytics in Remote Deck the other day, including a leaderboard for most overlay updates.
@NanaruruVT @dearNinette you have some powerful producers lol
I'm looking to add a few more creators and producers to expand the features Remote Deck has.
Do you have a dedicated team and a community and want to try something new?
Are you a producer, editor, or mod with a collaborative relationship with one or more streamers?
Let's chat!
Wow forever should be your signal to make that pvp montage your kid self always wanted to.
We need more Evanescence and honor kills
Highly recommend contacting the maintainer of your chat overlays to ensure the messages are being properly sanitized.
A generic approach would be to use something like npmjs.com/package/dompurify to sanitize, or a simple allowlist.
This quoted post is unavailable.
Imagine not having to adjust your audio levels for the perfect balance required for your YouTube clips.
Literally never have to have the conversation with chat "how does this sound"
Same for overlay elements blocking game content
Just a reminder you don't have to be the jack of all trades for your stream.
You don't see actors worrying about sound, lighting, or any of the production. They're focused on being the focus of the content.
You could do the same thing fairly easily, cheaply and securely. ⤵️
here's an paint doodle so you know its actually possible

It's been a while!
I've cooked up an OBS plugin to pair with Remote Deck, allowing producers (with permissions) to manage your audio device levels and filters.
Here's a demo showing off the current capabilities! 🧙♂️
You can pick up the latest version of the plugin here github.com/JanitorPuppo/remo…
and of course you can also check out remote deck at remotedeck.gg and start your 2 week trial for free 🧙♂️
