my 2 cents on this debate and I’m open to being contradicted:
It’s possible that as a man you’re more accomplished and better looking than your partner. But if that makes you believe you’re the prize in that relationship it’s probably better not to proceed with it
Motherhood and reduced career opportunities after marriage may mean she never goes back to looking like the hot girl you met in her 20s or she never peaks in her career the way she could’ve otherwise. Emotional bandwidth may drop too so she can't babysit you like before
All this can crash whatever little value she held in your eyes before marriage and eventually this will affect how you treat her every day. Anything can happen from here
- husband starts cheating on wife
- wife eventually realises she deserves better and ends the marriage
- both stay in the marriage but neither feels fulfilled
This is a man’s world by design and the least a woman deserves is to be her man’s world (imo)
