Abdul El-Sayed: âWe are being actively bullied by the dumbest people in the room. Donald Trump is an idiot. He has one genius which is getting attention. Because his dad never gave him enough, because he was a nepo baby, he craved attention and used the bullying tactics to get it. But the man is an idiot. Just a foolâ
Weâre all strongly concerned that youâre going to lose your job, @SenSusanCollins đ

.@AOC is right: We must expand Medicare to cover dental, vision and hearing and lower the eligibility age to 55 as part of the movement toward Medicare for All.
Letâs get it done.
Exclusive: If Democrats win big in November, reversing President Trumpâs Medicaid cuts and restoring ACA subsidies are priorities, but House Democrats are also talking about lowering the age of eligibility for Medicare. wapo.st/4xIzH5g

These horses should be protectedânot sold off for slaughter. This is Trumpâs unnecessary cruelty. There is no need for it. No excuse for it.

Dolly Parton defending the LGBTQ+ community from attacks 10 years ago:
I do not believe that we should criticize and judge other people. Weâre all Godâs children. We are who we are. I just think that we should be more loving, more caring, we are who we are. If youâre gay, youâre gay. If youâre straight, youâre straight and you should be allowed to be who you are.

Trumpâs war is costing about $2 BILLION a day.
Thatâs the same as:
⢠270,000 Pell Grants helping students afford college
⢠A full year of rent for 143,000 families
⢠Nearly 4 years of the 988 suicide crisis hotline
⢠3+ months of WIC nutrition for moms and babies
⢠29 days of breakfast and lunch for every public school kid in America
⢠All the humanitarian aid the U.S. gives the UN in a year
⢠A year of free preschool for 110,000 low-income kids
⢠A month of SNAP for nearly 10 million Americans
⢠A month of Medicaid for nearly 3 million Americans
How can we afford to spend $11 billion+ on destroying schools and homes in the Middle East â when we supposedly canât afford to provide basic healthcare, housing, education, or good jobs to our own people at home?
I keep asking the same question, over and over:
Might we choose peace instead?
A poem about grief, witness, and the lives we keep losing in this country.
Alex Pretti, Renee Good, Liam Ramos - and so many others. Stop this madness now.

After 17 years together, my marriage ended in a way I could never have imagined.
Betrayal. Disappearing acts.
And somehow â survival.
I wrote about the truth of what happened, and how I found my way back to myself.
