The writing has been on the wall all season. The issues #TexasTech showed on a weekly basis were going to catch up with it eventually.
My final whistle feeling as the Red Raiders fall to Cincinnati: on3.com/sites/red-raider-spo…
George Strait’s “All My Ex’s Live In Texas” playing over the loud speakers at Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati.
#TexasTech a couple minutes away from its first loss of the season.
Is this the dagger? Cincinnati RB Cole Tabb breaks off a 58-yard touchdown run to put the Bearcats up 37-18 with six minutes remaining.

#TexasTech’s inability to get anything going offensively has helped Cincinnati wear out the Red Raiders’ defense.
Will Hammond just has to be better. Too many mistakes from him and the rest of the offense.
Texas Tech head coach Joey McGuire at halftime to @GunsUpRadio:
“We’ve got dug out twice out of our gap on two big runs. We’ve blown a couple coverages in short yardage and not friggin’ picking up a tight end across. We’ll get it fixed. We’ve gotta come out and answer here.”
Good news for #TexasTech is its defense has still not allowed a rushing touchdown this year.
Bad news is Cincinnati has found the endzone first today as JC French IV found Cole Tabb on a short bootleg pass for a score.

Five penalties for 40 yards already on the #TexasTech end of things in Cincinnati.
Stone Harrington bails out this #TexasTech team, again. A false start from Jordan Church on 4th-and-1 brings out the field goal unit instead.
Live updates today for @RedRaiderSports: on3.com/sites/red-raider-spo…
Jalen Brewster is a cheat code on the football field in every sense.
We represent some very talented athletes. @j8ylen_ is the #1 football player in America for a reason. 6’3 310 lb Defensive Lineman. This dude is unreal. @PrestigeMgmtLLC @RP3natural
To @GunsUpRadio, Texas Tech coach Joey McGuire downplays any potential Brendan Sorsby drama around the Cincinnati matchup this morning.
Says the Red Raiders are two completely different teams comparing them from April to now and the focus is solely on winning.
#TexasTech safety Peyton Morgan is fully dressed and warming up this morning ahead of the 11:00 AM kick vs. Cincinnati. Was listed as a game time decision on the availability report.
The Bearcats sporting all red makes me wonder if/when we’ll see #TexasTech do the same this season.
It’s possible now with the red helmets.
Pregame warmups have started here at Nippert Stadium. #TexasTech kicks off against Cincinnati at 11:00 AM‼️
