I don’t think you have a dog in this fight but if you did you would have shot it.
I’ll take @ellalangleymsic over Kacey Musgraves any day. And if I’m choosin’ Texas, I’ll take Ken Paxton over James Talarico.

Billionaires are draining our resources to develop a technology they want to replace us, millions will lose Medicaid in the new year to pay for tax cuts for the rich, and we’re spending billions on genocidal wars the voters oppose. But sure, let’s keep talking about Hasan Piker.
The water that data centers use for electricity generation in just the top 7 states with the most data centers is the equivalent of 12-times the annual water use of Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Washington, DC, combined. The think tank Ceres has a new report detailing how data centers use much more water for electricity generation than they do in the facilities themselves. Bloomberg just reported on the study, saying that data centers in the seven states with the highest concentrations of them use about 3.4 trillion gallons of freshwater for electric power generation every year, but few electric power producers have connected this increasing power demand to water supply risks. news.bloomberglaw.com/enviro…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Ceres prorates power plants' total water withdrawals (largely returned, including hydropower) in 7 states to data centers by their electricity share; experts say such aggregates are not meaningful as impacts are local and consumptive use matters more than withdrawals. news.bloomberglaw.com/environment-an… latitudemedia.com/news/data-cent… ceres.org/resources/repo…

✨ @hasanthehun's gives us a reminder and makes a promise: "You have to remember this: There was never a moment, regardless of my disagreements with the way that Kamala Harris ran her campaign, regardless of my criticisms of establishment Democrats leaning in to Liz Cheney, leaning in to the Biden deadweight, there was NEVER a moment where I urged my viewership to vote for Trump. There will never be a moment where I will EVER my viewership to vote for a Republican. NEVER EVER. And what these guys [Democratic consultants] are now entertaining, some of them are openly entertaining voting for a Republican. That is completely unacceptable."

I’m reading “left” critics of US & Western support for Ukraine charging that the West has a racist double standard & doesn’t show the same support for the rights of Arabs & Muslims. That’s true, but it doesn’t absolve us from giving our full support to the victim Ukrainian people

RT if you agree: it’s time to pass both the Build Back Better Act and the infrastructure bill — so we can get people back to work without leaving anyone behind.

Here’s the key infrastructure section of the rule. It gives Transportation Committee Chair @RepPeterDeFazio — not Pelosi — the power to decide when the House votes on the Senate-passed legislation. It does not set an ironclad date.

Keep stumbling over fun 2020 quotes as I look for something else. Rand Paul at RNC: "If you want us to quit sending $50 billion every year to Afghanistan to build their roads and bridges instead of building them here at home, you need to support President Trump for another term."

Child care, paid leave, health care, climate action, and the other parts of the jobs and families package are the President's agenda, the Democratic agenda, AND what we promised the American people. If you vote against that, that's not "moderate."

War was bipartisan. Tax cuts for the rich were bipartisan. Wall St bailouts were bipartisan. Fossil fuel giveaways were/are bipartisan. Just because something is “bipartisan” doesn’t make it intrinsically good for people or worthy of passage. Substance matters.

This where the real focus should be. Why did DMFI spend all of this money to take out little ole Nina Turner? That’s the question.

Check out the bag dropping ahead of tomorrow's #OH11 primary. DMFI has spent more opposing Nina Turner than nearly all other outside spending combined.

Medicare was signed into law 56 years ago today, promising dignity for seniors across the nation. In 2021, let's ensure Medicare fully lives up to that promise and more. It's time to guarantee health care to everyone in America with Medicare for All.

When you accidentally let your billionaire funder-talk slip out on TV, you say things like “a healthy ruling class”
Replying to @justinbaragona
JD Vance says that the country is run by "childless cat ladies" who don't have a "direct stake in it," specifically naming Pete Buttigieg and AOC. "If we want a healthy ruling class, we should support more people who actually have kids."

If you can’t ask "how do you pay for it" when it comes to disastrous war budgets, bailouts, oil company subsidies, or corporate tax breaks, then you have little to stand on. Multiple studies show #MedicareForAll saves the country money, stress, and our conscience.
