This is the dream.
The two years I spent trying to invest in a Formula One team were defined by three key challenges, starting with market access.
F1 is an extremely closed market; you cannot simply buy shares. Many teams are owned by car companies, making them very difficult to penetrate.
Furthermore, many teams were not available. These are large, illiquid assets, meaning you must gain management's approval to invest.
Finally, building a great investment syndicate was essential. Deep trust with partners is necessary, especially if you aren't seeking a control position.
I've thought about this a lot. This is going to be one of the largest YC companies of all time.
Haven't felt a chill like this from a product I've worked on since the first time @andresbarreto and I saw a demo of Onswipe (PadPressed).
Pretty happy with the Sume API so far.
As a builder in the AI video space, I was terrified about how much markup API providers charge for simply routing the models.
Higgsfield API adds a 40% markup even with its maximum advertised discount. Fal adds 100%. Runway adds 414% (Seedance 2 480p)
I might be hated by the industry, but :
Today, we’re launching Sume API, the first image & video model provider with 0% markup.
For example with Seedance 2.5 1080p
• 50% cheaper than fal
• 50% cheaper than higgsfield api (29% even with biggest discount)
• 28.02% cheaper than kie ai
The routing infrastructure layer is never the moat. We believe that APIs should be commoditized, and the moats will be built at the application layer.
Check the pricing comparisons below, and see how the broken industry is saved.

Good. Kill Higgsfield and their horrendous practice.

Custom software becomes like custom websites. Many small businesses will pay independent web design firms to just build them the software they need.
All of the utility in AI flows to customization.
GTA 6 is cool. You know what's cooler? GTA 6 where the city is your college, and it's multiplayer with the other students.
Customization at this level was never possible before AI. It's the single greatest unlock of the intelligence era. In the enterprise, it's why all the utility sits in AI transformation.
Why would I adopt an AI feature in my CRM when I can tie every sales tool I have together, with AI as the interface, and redesign the whole org to be AI native?
Generic LLM wrappers lose. The winners of the AI age go all in on redesign and customization.

someone explains to me why do i have to re-auth all my MCPs like once a week?
16 years ago @andresbarreto and I created @cloudomatic , a B2B App Store for SaaS. I think the same idea has massive potential today, but solely for agents.
ie - agent needs a CRM or a unique tool, it finds it in the store, creates account, handles payment, etc.
