In August, Walter's company TWG Global said there was no fire sale of his sports assets, and specifically said the Cadillac F1 team & the Dodgers were not for sale. Well, now the F1 team is for sale. TWG said then there was also no fraud and no victim. frontofficesports.com/articl…
Mark Walter is shopping his Cadillac F1 team with an asking price of at least $3 billion, according to three people familiar with the process. There are at least seven parties interested in the team, which is wrapping up its Formula 1 season. Full story: sportico.com/business/team-s…

Until Walter’s legal troubles are clearly behind him, I don’t think you can truly say the Dodgers won’t become available for sale or that it won’t affect how they operate.

Luis Gutierrez won’t wow with his stuff. Can touch upper 90s but it’s not a great shaped fastball. Will need to rely on location. Has shown an ability to throw fastballs up and in to righties. Backend type of arm that has a feel for pitching.
We have tendered a qualifying offer to LHP Adrian Morejon and selected LHP Luis Gutierrez to the Major League roster.

Gutierrez likely isn't ready to compete for a roster spot at the start of 2027, but in a system as lacking in starting pitching as they are, they could not afford to let him walk away as a minor league free agent.
We have tendered a qualifying offer to LHP Adrian Morejon and selected LHP Luis Gutierrez to the Major League roster.

Padres have a ton of space on their 40 man roster 👀
Heading into tomorrow's deadline to re-instate 60-day IL guys, it appears six teams have to clear players off the 40-man just to make room for injured players. After reinstatements: SF 49 WAS 46 SEA 43 BOS 42 COL 42 DET 42 Everyone else will be at 40 or less. NYY = 32, SDP = 31
