I worked with Jen in St. Paul. She’s tenacious, smart, and gets things done. She’s also pragmatic and a problem solver, both things we need right now in Washington.
Good luck, Jen! You’ve earned my unwavering support through our work together over the years.
I filed for office this morning! ✅ It’s now official—I’ll be on the ballot for Congress #MN08.

TY @DaveLislegard, @grant_hauschild & @RobFarnsworthMN. I miss his jokes & sage advice. Looking forward to seeing Sen. Tomassoni’s name on the Range Expressway! #MN08
I’ll enjoy this drive the rest of my life. Good job Guido, still bringing it all back home from the other side. Thank you @RepLislegard and @grant_hauschild – at Virginia, MN
@RobFarnsworthMN your work is appreciated, as well! It’s nice to see the #mnleg work together on things like this. – at Virginia, MN
Spot on.
The CDC has released the most recent report on the US birthrate and it has dropped to 1.62. Why would women want to have children in the US right now?
- gop states are stripping women of the right of bodily autonomy
- women in Idaho have to be airlifted to other states to be permitted emergency medical care
- there is no required maternity leave
- Gov of TX is suing the US over the pregnant worker protections act
- the cost of childcare
- Idaho is suing to be able to deny emergency medical care to pregnant patients
And so many other reasons. Women do not owe society babies or the sacrifice of their goals, dreams, ambitions, or lives.

Hardest bill I've ever worked on - takes a lot of legislation to stand up an entire industry and undo some of the harm (bill includes expungement!) caused by its prohibition. startribune.com/walz-signs-b…
Rep. Howard is phenomenally talented lawmaker. I knew he was going places the first time we met. This is a great thread for those looking for session cliff notes. #mnleg – at Virginia, MN
Name your adjective on this session – historic, transformational, but to achieve what end? What is most important is that we used our legislative majorities to do the MOST good for the MOST people. Here are 100 (yes, 100!) ways we got it done for everyday Minnesotans. 🧵 #mnleg

I owe a lot to the Northland leaders that came before me. In particular, my two House running mates in District 3, Rep. @RobEcklund & Rep. Mary Murphy. Both are incredible legislators but more importantly they’re kind, genuine people that just want to do good #mnleg (1/3)
@clarksshoes Found these gems in the garage. Nothing fits better than a shoe broken in circa 2006. I can’t believe they still fit and they’re as comfortable as memory served.
