ALT WHAT: A prolonged period of warmer than normal temperatures will likely produce significant snow melt onto frozen ground. WHERE: Across south-central/eastern Montana and north-central Wyoming. WHEN: Threat increases this weekend and persists into next week. ACTION: While flooding is not imminent, now is the time to move equipment and livestock out of low lying areas and away from waterways, move heavy accumulations of snow away from structures, and clear any outside drains of snow and ice.
