Hard times helped shape @ForestPark4Ever. When the park was established in 1876, the main concern was how to get St. Louisans all the way out to a 1,300-acre piece of land. A train ride from downtown would take 20 minutes & streetcar lines had yet to stretch so far. #UpliftingSTL
