Our officers continue to conduct welfare checks and rescue operations in Brevard County as communities deal with ongoing flooding. FWC officers are responding with aircraft, reconnaissance drones, high-water vehicles, airboats and shallow-water vessels to evacuate residents and transport them, their families and pets to safety. Our officers will continue working alongside local emergency management and partner agencies to assist those impacted by the flooding.
We encourage residents to stay safe, avoid flooded roadways and follow directions from local emergency management officials.

FWC officers have deployed to St. Lucie County to conduct rescue operations and assist residents affected by this week’s historic rainfall and flooding. Residents trapped in their homes or unable to travel due to impassable roadways are being transported to safety on FWC airboats, swamp buggies and shallow-water vessels. Our officers will remain in St. Lucie County and other affected areas conducting welfare checks and assisting where needed. We encourage everyone to stay safe and follow any directions from local emergency management officials.

We have been in communication and coordination with SOE in the impacted counties.
In St. Lucie County, we are in constant contact with SOE Walker to ensure any issues on the ground are dealt with swiftly.
In Brevard County, SOE Bobanic and Sheriff Ivey continue to handle issues as they arise expeditiously as a result of localized flooding.
I encourage all voters in these communities to refer to their supervisor’s web pages for the most up to date information.

The @FLSecofState Division of Elections has provided an updated list of polling locations in counties impacted by flash flooding.
