It means entire countries and cultures will go extinct forever
fertility rates are so abstract that people struggle to understand the scale of the catastrophe we’re experiencing.
take 1.14 children per woman (italy and japan)
if that continues, each generation is roughly half the size of the one before it
start with 100 people in a generation, the next only has about 54, then 29, then 16.
in three generations, roughly a century, you have a generation 84% smaller than the one you started with.
for taiwan that would be 97.4%!
i don't think people really understand what that means

Tomuto kroku předcházely měsíce odborného posuzování a jednání s českými i zahraničními odborníky a zástupci Tesly.

Really impressive first few drives with FSD v14 lite!
Big leap in capability and feature set from v12.6.4, it’s tuned for safety right now so it’s taking things slow and smoothly.
Highway performance was notably great. More videos and a very long form review later once I get a few more hours of driving in.

De toekomst van mobiliteit is aangebroken
FSD Supervised has been approved in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 & will begin rolling out in the country shortly!
Trained on billions of kilometers of real-world driving data, it can drive you almost anywhere under your supervision – from residential roads to city streets & highways
No other vehicle can do this.
We're excited to bring FSD Supervised to more European countries soon
Hello, Moon. It’s great to be back.
Here’s a taste of what the Artemis II astronauts photographed during their flight around the Moon. Check out more photos from the mission: nasa.gov/artemis-ii-multimed…
We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.

ALT A full disk image of Earth, as seen from the Orion capsule. The planet is a pale blue, swirling with white clouds and glowing slightly lighter blue in place from reflected light. From about 8 to 9 o'clock, a large brown landmass is Africa, with the Iberian peninsula twinkling with lights just where the planet curves. At the 1 o'clock spot, aurora glow in a thin green glow, just barely separated from the planet's surface. Earth is set against the black of space. Credit: NASA/Reid Weisman

Amazon should focus on the fact that it will fall roughly 1,000 satellites short of meeting its upcoming deployment milestone, rather than spending their time and resources filing petitions against companies that are putting thousands of satellites in orbit.
NEWS: Amazon has filed a formal petition calling on the FCC to deny @SpaceX’s 1 million-satellite proposal for orbiting data centers, going as far to claim the project would take “centuries” to deploy.
Amazon: “Deploying the proposed million-satellite constellation would take centuries, even assuming the availability of all global launch capacity to do so. In short, the Application seems to describe a lofty ambition rather than a real plan—and a speculative placeholder rather than a complete application under the Commission’s rules.”

Starlink Mobile is partnering with @deutschetelekom to support over 140M subscribers across 10 European countries.
The service will be the first in the region to launch V2 next-gen technology using our new Mobile Satellite Service spectrum, which will deliver 5G speeds to cell phones in remote areas. → starlink.com/mobile
Starting in 2028, we will complement our mobile network with satellite connectivity from @Starlink. This will allow us to close the very last white spots in Europe - for example inaccessible terrain or protected natural areas.
