Excited to share a huge team effort in @NatureComms showing lipid droplets as more than cellular fat stores!
By integrating proteomics and lipidomics, we found they act as dynamic antiviral organelles coordinating host defence against viral infection!

Really proud to have been able to contribute alongside @TimetogoZ and @ebony_monson to co-first author on this really exciting body of work published in @NatureComms
This work is a testament to what hard work and collaboration can achieve!! Please do check it out.
Yay, after eight years, it's here! 🧬🦠
Our new @NatureComms paper explores how lipid droplets remodel during viral infection and support antiviral defence.
Proud to be co-first alongside the wonderful company of @JayLaws15 and @TimetogoZ
