Had a great night at @CML_LDN tonight, where the panel has a detailed discussion about stablecoins, and how they’ve matured into real world money so rapidly. The panel was moderated by Helen Disney from Unblocked and included the very popular Reuben Blamey making GBP stablecoins at Agant, Kate Rhodes from @Mastercard & Juan Ignacio Ibañez from the MiCA Crypto Alliance One of the topics briefly mentioned that was of particular interest was how do we maintain decentralisation, in a world where centralised stablecoins are the ones being adopted the most? Additionally how do we make sure stablecoins DO NOT BECOME CBDCS!!!
