Discipline is a gift you give your future self
At 20 you think you'll start tomorrow
Tomorrow turns into next month, next year
Then one day you look up and wonder where it all went
Nobody is coming to save you
But that's also what makes it freeing
The pen is in your hand
Wake up early, show up when it's hard
Protect your health, your peace, your people
Build slowly and stay patient
One life, make it count

Took this trade 100% because of @Jay_ssmt

Some of my students aren’t as active on social media because they took my advice of tuning out all noise, and focusing on what their mentor has taught them.
These are the results. This student of mine has done well over 200k of payouts since we’ve started working together. This 30k from lucid is just 2 months of his trading payouts documented on 1 single firm.
Me and my team of educators are relentless.

We won’t stop until we produce as many stories as this as we can.
We want to be the best mentors, with the best student results. Our students trust us, show up for us, and take their learning seriously, and we don’t take the responsibility of being called “mentor” lightly.
When you played sports as a kid, you were always trying to get better.
Asking your coach questions. Giving your best effort at practice. Showing up on time. Waking up early on weekends to train.
All that effort just to become a better player.
But when it comes to trading—something you want to replace your salary with—you don’t bring that same discipline.
You watch a couple of YouTube videos and start trading a model you barely understand. You don’t backtest. You don’t journal. You don’t track any data.
How are you supposed to get better if you don’t even know what you’re doing wrong?
Give trading the same respect you gave your sport. Study, practice, ask questions, and learn from your mistakes.
The willingness to stay a student is what allows you to keep growing.
Showing you what most won't...
A LOSS 🤣 - here is a recap on the Silver longs I took today and why I took them
I share these to @LathyrusHQ everyday, but thought everyone can learn from a good old loss !
Give yourself 30 days where your trading rules aren’t negotiable.
Use tools like @tradecopia to enforce them:
• 1–2 trades a day
• A fixed max daily loss
• Lockouts so you can’t override your limits
Have a clear risk plan. Have a model that tells you what to look for and when to execute.
Then spend 30 days measuring how well you follow it.
Every time you respect your rules, you reinforce the habit.
Make discipline the goal. Let the results tell you what needs work.
