Storm is really good rn but people make her seem like sheβs garbage. Sheβs a team oriented enhancing flyer but people have the idea of βplay flyer high upβ. If ANYTHING a mobility option or movement speed increase is all she needs.
Imma leave this here because lots of yβall are dense. This isnβt just about a skin. Itβs about how the black characters and community within this game have been treated like shit. Itβs more than about skins. He explained it perfectly
Johnny absolutely deserves a legendary, hell he deserves more than one, but Iβm really tired of people acting like they donβt know what the issue was the entire time
You all keep downplaying it as if itβs JUST about a skin, and I know you are all doing that on purpose so people who are upset look crazy. You know that how NetEase went around was odd
-This isnβt the first time Storm has to be protested for
-She was the one Summer skin that wasnβt legendary after announcing back to back legendary skins for every other woman
-The Moon Girl treatment
-Cloak being attached to Dagger and not really being given his own character
-The few sprays we got that raised eyebrows
-The in game racism
-The pro and content creator scene racism
-The Discord stuff
-They literally replaced Storm in all of the Egypt related stuff?
-Black Panther, Blade, Storm not touched as much or left underwhelming
-The black cast mostly being supportive NPCs or justβ¦left to the collab comics
Itβs not just about a skin. Itβs a pattern people have noticed just by paying attention. People downplaying it by saying itβs just about a skin are weird af. Notable streamers are telling people this same rhetoric to push that βthe black communityβ are βoutraged because they donβt get Storm skinsβ. Itβs disingenuous and either people know that, or they are not paying attention at all. If you donβt actually know and refuse to do the research to educate yourself on a topic literally just donβt talk about it
This Storm skin is a very good thing! Great! Hopefully they can continue changing things. I assume the Storm legendary update will be next season. I also think they will try to correct things in general next season. The entire thing is can they keep it up
