"Can the Utah Jazz Survive Without Jusuf Nurkic?" @TheEastonSU | @TheLeadSM theleadsm.com/can-the-utah-j…

Tonight at 7, we have the opportunity to seek vengeance against Ty Jerome on the home front 😈

Final from game three, 1-2 on the year after a back-and-forth contest with the Lakers Has Luka Dončić (51-8-10) entered Ty Jerome conversations after his performance tonight?

Update: Jaxson Hayes initially stayed in the game to shoot free throws, but has since walked off to get a better look at his right shoulder injury

Zay-Brice-Svi-Okogie-Hayes is a pretty uninspiring lineup to run while Luka is on the court. We’ve gotta have at least one starter out there to keep up with him. William Culvahouse Hardy needs to stagger the minutes better

We’re being too sloppy handling the ball. LAL has 9 steals up to this point 🤢

Down 71-74 at HT. LAL gradually storms back and takes the lead at the last moment. We looked so good to start the game, but we have to keep our foot on the gas against a superstar like Luka Dončić.

DP showing some active hands in defense as the pokes the ball away from Austin Reaves and forces the TO

47-29 to end the 1st quarter as the crowd erupts after a Lauri Markkannen buzzer beating 3 We’re firing on all cylinders right now 🔥

Keyonte’s had a couple of inbounding assists for a total of 6 in the first 6.5 minutes. The guys are doing a good job of moving around and finding their spots.

KEY ALLEY OOP TO ACE FOR THE TWO HANDED SLAM

Up 12-6 as Utah uses two early timeouts halfway through the 1st. Ace leads us with 6 points, including a putback after an offensive rebound. The leap he’s taken so far this year has been beautiful to witness

Today at 3 pm, Walker Kessler makes his return to the Delta Center in his first matchup against his former team.

Unrelated thought I had during yesterday’s game How do you pronounce New Orleans? @PelicansLead

One of my most positive takeaways from last night was how committed Keyonte George was to playing defense. He had the reputation as the worst defender in the association last year with the stats to back it up. So many other starting PGs struggle on defense, so if Keyonte can get to average for his position and avoid being a weak link by continuing to show that he can get stops, switch, make hustle plays, and disrupt passing lanes, that speaks volumes to the progress of our team defense as a whole.

JAZZ DUB IN THE BOOKS 📚 The star of the show is JJJ, leading the team in scoring with 24, grabbing 10 rebounds, and blocking 2 shots. He locked in to help lead the Jazz back to victory in the 4th quarter. Very honorable mention to Keyonte’s 19-10 double double as well. DP with 15 in his home debut. Huge rim running performance from Hayes off the bench. Sound off, Jazz fans. What did you like seeing from the squad’s first win of the season?

Outscored by 14 in in the 3rd quarter, down 90-86. What’s stood out that New Orleans has done better and/or Utah has done worse?

Jaxson Hayes tips the potential alley oop from Murray to Matković out of bounds

Keyonte for threeyonte 👌

Leading the differential battles in rebounds, assists, FG% and 3P%. Losing in stocks and FT%.
