I know it's convenient but streaming music is rubbish. The excitement of deciding which album to buy, then falling in love with that album, has pretty much disappeared, and our rock stars barely have enough money to survive let alone drive cars into swimming pools.

ADHD-ers usually have an interest-based nervous system. Meaning that a task needs either novelty, urgency, competition or interest for them to be motivated or focused. Learning this and adapting boring, everyday tasks to fit into one of these categories can be life-changing.

I'm all for cycling as a form of commuting but in Europe people use normal bikes, dress in normal clothes, and obey the rules of the road. Only in Britain does Adam from Accounts dress in head to toe lycra and treat the Chiswick road as a fucking Tour de France special stage.

I was today years old when I realized that the reason email is so painful for ADHDers, other than executive dysfunction, is bc it requires a buttload of masking to figure out how to say what you need to say in the semiformal, roundabout, fake polite way that neurotypicals expect.
