Not sure what’s up with Twitter today, but it’s awful. No matter what I tweet, it’s just filled with awful bot comments. Anyway, I appreciate the real people on this app. I hope everyone is happy and doing well.

Sucks to lose, but it was fun seeing the Jazz in a close game, that they were trying to win.

I just finished the second quarter. Same thing as the first, but exactly the opposite. 😂

I just finished the first quarter. I have no idea what will happen the rest of the game, but it was really fun to watch this team play a quarter where everything was clicking. And, my goodness… Ace Gregory Bailey just gave a clinic on how to play basketball.

My wife turns 50 on November 7. I have been trying to think of what to get her for about a year now. 😂 Anyway, I still need to figure out something, although I kind of know where I’m headed (refinishing an old sewing table of her grandmas we just got). However, 1 thing I’m doing, which I’m excited about, is I’ve reached out to all of our family and friends, and asked them, if they want to, to mail her a handwritten letter for her birthday. A favorite memory. Something they love about her. Whatever comes to mind. I can’t wait for her to see what she means to others, and how many lives she touches. I really hope people will do it. She is an absolute saint. For any of you who have had to good fortune of meeting her, you figure it out pretty quickly, ❤️

Utes defense has struggled at times. But last night, they faced an elite QB who has absolutely been carving up defenses, and held him to no touchdowns, and kept the ball in front of the defense most of the night. It was so rad to see those guys take ownership of their play, and say “enough is enough”. Elite defense last night.

I know we all want to take cheap shots, and get revenge on a guy who hasn’t shut his mouth in 10 years, and is dropping the ball every single day. But, if I’m the Dems, they need to move on. Trump’s ratings are at an all time low. Also, he can’t run for president again. Move on, and start telling people how you’re going to solve problems. The Dems entire reputation is the party who doesn’t do anything. Break the mold. Tell people how you’re going to make this country better. Stop pointing at the crazy guy in the White House and saying, “we’re not him”. It cost you the 2024 election already.

I haven’t seen any official rankings, but the prediction has BYU at 4 and Utah at 7. If that happens, I’d actually be impressed the committee is respecting the BIG12, which they should. Similar losses as to what BYU had, for top teams, didn’t result in them dropping too far. While I’d love to see Utah higher, I don’t really care. It will all play out. If they win, they’ll be well taken care of in the polls. Last night was the first of a very difficult 4 game stretch. Just keep it going, and we don’t have anything to worry about.

I forgot an important announcement last night. My daughter, who was at her first ever Utah game, and absolutely crushed it, has nicknamed Wayshawn Parker, Pinky. Let it be known. Let it be recorded.

Dear Utes, Let’s not do the same thing next weekend. Cincinnati is real. It will be our hardest road game of the season so far. Gotta prepare and get ready to bring it. #RSNB #GoUtes

I guess I don’t know the rule, but a 10 second run off for the offensive team when they get their helmet ripped off seems like not the right thing.
