Greetings everyone! I am grateful for all the support I have had during my campaign! I will always advocate for those who fall through the cracks, be it someone like my autistic daughter, targets of bigotry or just having a bad year. #JeffClarkForTrustee

I’m saddened to see an Edmonton institution like BioWare closing its doors. BioWare was founded in Edmonton in 1995 and became internationally famous for games including Baldur's Gate, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect.
Our thoughts are especially with the employees who have lost their jobs and the families affected by this closure.

Some very smart Canadian investors should be swooping in to build a new AAA publisher/developer in Edmonton right now with the juice to compete with CD Projekt Red, Larian and Remedy.
Build those Edmonton-made games and then source other excellent Canadian-based developers.
Canadians are excellent game makers.
LFG!

Parents and communities never asked to give up their say in how their public schools are governed.
Now, the Ford government is proposing rules that would leave newly elected trustees at eight supervised school boards waiting to be sworn in until provincial supervision ends. But there is no clear timeline.
Communities could cast their ballots, only to have their chosen representatives sidelined while provincial appointees continue making decisions about their schools.
Public education belongs to the public.
Parents, students and communities deserve accountable local representatives who can raise their concerns, question decisions and act on their behalf.
The Ford government must restore local decision-making and respect the voices of the people our schools serve.

A terrible day for the videogame industry.
BioWare made Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age II and Mass Effect 1-3 in one console generation. Between 2007-2012. Every game incredible.
How do you take one of the most talented, disciplined and proven entertainment studios on the planet and completely shutter them in less than 15 years after a run like that?
BioWare's brands and the studio's well earned respect, which had been a magnet for generations of talented game creators, were incalculably valuable.
Reduced to bullet points on a balance sheet.
Near sighted. Unbelievable. Irreplaceable.
Unforgivable.

NEW: An Ontario cancer patient is taking the Ford government to court for refusing to fund a U.S. treatment that could save her life.
"People are just being told to die."
The government pointed to cost savings as one of the reasons it is limiting which patients can receive funding for out-of-country treatments.

The Ford government destroyed OSAP. They were warned about potential fraud for years and failed to act.
Now students across Ontario can’t pay rent, tuition and groceries, and they’re being told to wait until the new year. What are they supposed to do in the mean time?
Students should not have to pay the price for this government’s incompetence.
Cut off the bad actors. Restore OSAP for students who followed the rules. Immediately. #onpoli

They were at war.
His orders were to kill them.
He saved 422 of them instead.
1942. The Java Sea.
British warships were sunk.
422 Allied sailors were floating in burning oil, surrounded by sharks, waiting to die.
Then, a Japanese destroyer appeared.
The drowning sailors closed their eyes.
They expected machine-gun fire.
Instead, Captain Shunsaku Kudo hoisted the rescue flag.
For five straight hours, in submarine-infested waters, his crew pulled every single enemy from the sea.
They washed the oil from their burning eyes.
They shared their own fresh water and biscuits.
Then, Captain Kudo walked onto the deck, saluted the captured British officers, and spoke in English:
"You fought bravely. Today, you are the honored guests of the Imperial Japanese Navy."
He delivered all 422 men safely to a hospital ship.
And after the war?
He never told a soul. Not his friends. Not even his wife.
He took it to his grave.
Save the enemy at the risk of your own life.
Then speak of it to no one.
This is who we are.

NEW: In his first year running Ontario's largest school board, the Ford government's TDSB supervisor logged more than twice as many meetings with the board's $20B real estate arm than he did with parent groups, calendar entries reveal.
The FOI records offer a rare glimpse into the supervisor’s day-to-day work, raising concerns that parents have taken a back seat under provincial supervision. Story: thetrillium.ca/news/educatio…

When a lie is repeated enough, it can start to feel true.
Research on #GenderedDisinformation in South America shows how repetition is used as a tactic during electoral periods to sway the public opinion of female candidates.
Until the USA charges its political donation rules the world will remain at risk.
In Canada votes win elections. In the USA if you are losing you can buy them.

These “have mores” are putting our tax dollars into for-profit healthcare corporations when they should be putting our money into the system which we all need. Just like with education these 19th century men are devolving Ontario down to rust-belt USA.
Doug Ford and our Ontario PC team are making record investments in health care.
This year, we’re investing more than $101 billion to connect more people to family doctors, build new hospitals and train more doctors.

BREAKING NEWS
Today, we are relieved that the Manitoba Court of Appeal has found the People's Party of Canada vicariously liable for defamation after a Twitter post from a PPC account labelling a Muslim community member a terrorist.
This has been a long time coming.
Our legal team supported the plaintiff who took the PPC to court on this matter in 2020. We have sustained our efforts to hold them to account. Our legal team has fought hard all the way through.
Today, with the important help of our external cousel Imran Qureshi (DLA Piper), the plaintiff won.
Those seeking electoral power in Canada must be held to the highest levels of accountability. There is no place for Islamophobia anywhere in Canada. Our community will not be intimidated.
