Today’s news is just another example of the pattern of corruption from Virginia Democrats. It seems that Democrats in the Commonwealth could care less about the people they serve and care more about lining their own pockets or just seizing power—most notably Elaine Luria’s insider stock trading, or Louis Lucas’s marijuana corruption, or Jay Jones being elected Attorney General after saying he would like to kill his opponent and their children, or Abigail Spanberger and her attempted power grab through rigged gerrymandering of electoral districts. I serve the people of Virginia and am running to put more money in your pockets. This most recent news about Senator Lucas should be a lesson to every voter when they vote this November that Democrat promises are hollow and are an embarrassment to Virginia. The corruption in the Commonwealth must end, and that starts with voting on November 3rd!!
Right on cue, one of targeted #Va House Republicans begins milking the @SenLouiseLucas indictment for votes.

I have read the charging document alleging a series of criminal acts by a member of the Virginia Senate. In our American system of justice, people are presumed innocent until proven guilty, and that is true for Senator L. Louise Lucas. She and her family deserve the opportunity to present their defense and speak to the allegations presented.
The timing of this indictment undermines the U.S. Department of Justice’s previously longstanding policy of not taking legal actions — to include indictments or significant investigative steps — close to an election and sadly, this timing further erodes the trust the American people deserve to have in the Department of Justice.
Unstated but perhaps implied: The indictment today of @SenLouiseLucas - won by @realDonaldTrump DoJ - could help save these Democrat-targeted #Va House Republicans.

Remember: Spanberger had to shift, shuffle and squirm before Lucas endorsed her - even after Spanberger’s nomination was a done deal.
