We ought to stop refugee resettlements until we can figure out how to dismantle the Somali Patronage System here in America AND help them successfully assimilate.
ALT Despite record debt and domestic hardship, Senate Republicans are advancing a $700 million increase for refugee resettlement programs. The Office of Refugee Resettlement already spent $6.244 billion in 2025 providing benefits to foreign nationals. The Senate proposal would push spending near $7 billion, overruling House efforts to rein it in.
