DOUBLE STANDARD - LET THEM CELEBRATE ๐๐ผ
I will preface & say I donโt want to remove the crazy celebrations in the menโs game.
Just a ref to explain why mens college teams can celebrate like this, but a womens college team goes 1โ beyond the sideline, we get 30 second lectures!
I see football celebrations involve the entire offense/defense, dunk celebrations that show up & disrespect the other team.
Why are we stealing this joy & energy from female volleyball players and teams
ENOUGH. PROTECT WOMENS SPORTS. LET THEM CELEBRATE #ncaavolleyball
My team was on the near side and were warned later in the match as well. We have an energetic bench, and they work hard to come up with skits and enjoy the match. I am on record with my team Iโd rather they get a yellow card than tell them to stop celebrating near the court.

A team's culture becomes stronger when a player reminds another player:

Canโt agree more with Kirsten. Being in those meetings also left me discouraged by what I heard. Just because a coach may be at the top of the D1 food chain is not a free pass to try and win the wrong way. Kudos to those doing it right, clubs and colleges.
Forget the record - This Eagles team is brutal. Donโt seem to have a plan on offense. Poor route running, no creativity, and Swift isnโt used. Why did we get him?
Worse than that, this defense doesnโt blitz, plays soft zone, and canโt stop anybody. Both coordinators need to go.
