It may finally be time to build my own keyboard. Just can't seem to get the features I need and it's slowing me down.
My new #gamedev goal is that someone takes a sick day to play my game. I'll have to make one worth it at some point.
Permissions and settings have become the bane of my existence lately. I have needed to request access to like 15 different things lately and it becomes such a blocker waiting on someone to find the right things to give me permission for. Not sure how to fix it but it needs fixing
Build things like someone is gonna pick it up and use it at face value with no time to read the documentation. They'll make their best guess because they're in a hurry.
Decided to try helping with the review queue on #StackOverflow for the first time. I read the question super carefully cause I've always hated when mods don't. Excuse me I did not expect this bamboozle. š

The ending of an era: Create React App is about to be officially marked as deprecated.
See ya CRA. Long live React!
I saw someone request the differences between models be added to the model selector on T3Chat just a few days ago and it's already there. And the way it was implemented is such a simple and clear UI.š¤Nice work @theo

Having intention with how you spend your time and who you spend it with is a big deal. I want to be around people I want to be like. I have a big Contacts spreadsheet of people I meet with notes like how I met them, what's important to them, their SO's name. Friendship facts.ā¤ļø
My cofounder recently told me he keeps what he calls a āTop 50ā list. Itās a rotating list of the 50 most important people in his life.
When he has downtime and wants to catch up, he checks the list.
When heās in a new city and deciding who to see, he checks the list.
Heās one of the most social and well-liked people I know ā one of those people everyone wants to hang out with. And when heās with you, you can tell heās giving you 100% of his attention.
But because of that, he used to overcommit. Heād spend time managing one-sided relationships and hanging out with people who didnāt really matter to him.
The list helps him focus his energy on the people who actually matter. Not just close friends or family, but also people like mentors or old friends whoāve always been there.
If youāre not on it, you might still get some of his time. But his best? Thatās reserved for the people who matter most.
Itās kind of ruthless⦠but also kind of genius? Especially for people who get FOMO or over exert.
At the end of the day, you canāt be everywhere, and you canāt give your best to everyone.
Today's Leetcode of the day is reminds me of gamedev. Have to do stuff like this pretty frequently. Honestly I just love #geometry, I fell in love with proofs in high school and they're the most similar thing I know of to #programming. leetcode.com/problems/k-closā¦

Most of the time I listen to chillhop or just rain sounds so I can focus on #programming but I'm doing some #videoEditing today so I can really get spicy with the tunes. youtube.com/watch?v=oWqAf4eeā¦
