Well done Alex, the OUitC team and all the young people who will have benefited greatly from the course. @OUFCcommunity @alexblane3
A visit from Sean Woodcock MP! 🗣️
Congratulations to our participants who completed a youth leadership course in Banbury throughout the summer holiday.
Delivered by Oxford United in the Community, the course aimed to equip the young people with the leadership skills they need to begin their own coaching journeys.
They also received funding from the Banbury Youth Partnership which enables them to complete their Introduction to Coaching course.
To celebrate, Banbury MP Sean Woodcock joined the participants for their final challenge - a Dragon’s Den style pitch on why they should receive the funding, which they all excelled at. 👏

Len is a lifelong supporter who, due to his cancer diagnosis in 2023, can no longer attend Oxford United matches.
Despite this, he continues to renew his season ticket so members of his family can attend in his place.
To thank him for his support, Cameron Brannagan and Simon Eastwood paid him a surprise visit.

Another important story from @OUFCcommunity Please support if you can
Sam will be running the London Marathon next year to raise funds for @TheEPT, the charity that supported her through her own ectopic pregnancy in 2023. 💛
We were really happy to support Sam by donating a 2026/27 home shirt, signed by the Men’s First Team, to be sold as part of a charity raffle in October.
To support Sam in her journey, please find the link to her fundraiser on our website. 🏃♀️

Given the occasion, the conditions, Mexico’s home advantage and the cheating VAR, that was without doubt the best England performance I’ve ever seen.
So glad I stayed awake for it.
A moment in history that young kids who watched it will talk about forever!
