9 years ago today, I taught my first lesson. I also still teach this exact lesson 🥰

I love leaving a space in the curriculum for sketching workshops from ‘The Addictive Sketcher’. #Ambition

Students all over the country “Miss, it’s hot”.

In Art, we look for students being able to apply their knowledge independently. I know that this Y7 student can successfully observe, demonstrate tone accurately and apply mark making skills learnt in Unit 1&2 🥇👏🏼

I’m a mountain leader for a young person who struggles with day to day school life. Today she successfully sat her English Literature exam and afterwards said to me “I feel so powerful”. Academic year has been made. 🥺😭🥰

It’s official. The 10hr exam is over and we said our goodbyes to our Y11 artists. It’s the first time I’ve taken a cohort all the way through coursework and exam that hasn’t been interrupted by covid or my maternity. Exhausted, but happy. 🥰

We had a whopping 19 Art students attend our Easter session today. So thankful and proud 🥰

Here’s to a much needed Easter break. Y10 and Y11, ill see you Wednesday and Thursday 🫡

I continually work hard to create an inclusive Art curriculum and in Y9 we’ve practiced painting different skin tones in the style of Tai Shan Schierenberg #Diversity #Pride #Inclusivity @GloucsAcademy

#WorldBookDay Aria will only wear pretty dresses at the moment so today had to be an easy win 😂

Received a lovely surprise during school today from a parent. #HappyFriday

When all of my y11’s stayed for enrichment p7 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

Here’s a portrait of me by my 2yo. Happy Blue Monday!

This is incredibly important for our local community ⛰️ The first time GA has ever reached ‘Good’ 🥰

Day 5 of the pox! Can’t count how many times I’ve said “stop scratching” 😂

Merry Christmas, love from Nursery x

…Let’s push over the Christmas tree and expose how mummy doesn’t decorate the back 🫠

All day: Art. Get home: “mummy, painting please?”

Y11’s have absolutely smashed their 5 hour mock! I couldn’t be more proud… and exhausted!
