If you'd like good standing tickets for #GlyndebourneOpera, call the box office for returns as they're not advertised online - sadly we can't go. Available: Red Upper Circle Standing 23 & 24 for Barber of Seville (Nov 7) and Marriage of Figaro (Nov 8).
What a brilliant production of #lordoftheflies. Thank you #BBC. The Benjamin Brittan/ Brittan-inspired soundtrack is particularly perfect. Cinematography, acting, direction all superb.

📢 New study on causes of maternal deaths:
Severe bleeding (haemorrhage) and hypertensive disorders like preeclampsia are the leading causes of maternal deaths, together claiming around 130,000 lives worldwide in 2020.
Tragically, too many women lack access to lifesaving treatments and quality care during pregnancy and childbirth. These deaths are preventable—urgent action is needed to ensure every woman can access safe, high-quality maternity services that save lives and protect health.
