Let’s talk about the facts.
Not conspiracies, not false myths spread on social media – facts.
Danielle Smith’s policy targeting trans and gender-diverse youth is an attack on a vulnerable group of youth and on thousands of Albertans. It is a massive overstep into private health care decisions. And it is an attack on the fundamental education rights of kids in our province.
But don’t take it from me: listen to the experts and allies in our video. Listen to the people with real, lived experiences.
Share this video and information with your friends and help combat the misinformation being spread by the Alberta government.
Sign our petition and tell Danielle Smith to stop pursuing these proposed changes.
Tell her that Albertans believe all human rights must be protected.

It’s coming up on Christmas. I’m trying to put together photo books for each kid, full of pics of them with their dad. Because those memories are so very important, and they deserve to see how much he loved them. But doing it is absolutely gutting me. Grief sucks.
The 5 year old just came into my room while I was folding the laundry I’ve been avoiding for days. She looked at me and said, “oh good, A(9) sent me up to check and make sure you weren’t dead”, then just left the room. 5 is the one who found their dad when he died.
Trauma sucks.
It’s Hallowe’en. It was my husbands favourite holiday.
He always made sure the yard was decked out in spooky decor. Helped the kids pick costumes. And we would carve pumpkins together, at least 4 (one for each kid). He typically had two costumes himself, something 1/
punny or clever that he wore to work, and then something that could go over a winter jacket that he wore to take the kids trick-or-treating.
So I’m trying. I’m trying to keep up the traditions. The yard is decorated. Pumpkins are carved. We all have costumes. 2/
We have family photos booked tomorrow. So of course, it only makes sense that 2 of my kids came home from school with temporary tattoos ON THEIR FACES today.
Today was my birthday. And I spent the morning making funeral arrangements.
This is the beautiful cake my husband had ordered for me before he passed. This week has been so devastating, but I appreciate all the kind words and thoughts we’ve received.
My husband died unexpectedly on Tues morning, likely a complication of his epilepsy.
I had worked a night shift and our 4 y.o. found him after I got home. We have 4 kids, 12, 9, 9, and 4. I’m drowning. I’m broken. He was the centre of our family, and my heart. We’re just so lost.
Polls have closed. Votes have been cast. Nothing to do now but wait for the results. Hoping Albertans have made the choice to vote in our own interest. #abpoli #abvotes #RachelNotley
While the UCP is claiming to have fixed Emerg wait times, Alberta doctors are saying something else.
As emergency doctors we are witnesses to the system- wide healthcare crisis in AB. This letter (signed by over >180 Calgary ED docs) adds our voice to the untenable state of healthcare. Albertans deserve quality, compassionate, and timely emergency care: docs.google.com/document/d/1…

Today, the Ethics Commissioner found that Danielle Smith broke the law.
Her interactions with the Justice Minister breached the Conflicts of Interest Act.
Her call to Artur Pawlowski violated “a fundamental principle of our democracy.”

This is pretty damning. #ableg
Jeromy Farkas and I are pretty far apart on the political spectrum. If the conservatives in the province are feeling this way, I hope they vote accordingly.
This clip from the Calgary Eye Opener should be required listening for every albertans as @JeromyYYC takes Smith and her record out for a walk!
