At long last this game-changer for #Type1 diabetics in #NZ has finally arrived. Before this only those in the privileged position to self-fund could have access to #CGMs. This will literally #savelives and reduce the strain on our overloaded health system.

A 300m exclusion zone is now in place around the scene of the large fire at Shelly Bay due to the presence of asbestos and the danger it will cause when rubble is removed from the site.
Since returning to NZ I have shifted my volunteer time to the visual arts, and I'm loving it! The stimulation of the creative process, + the energy & positivity of an organisation like @artcanorg is a welcome antidote to the past few years. #visualarts #artcanamplify #shortfilms
