EPOPé & EAROH teams at European #Perinatal and #Pediatric #Epidemiology Conference #EPEC23 in Stockholm. Great intervention of @JenniferZeitlin about @EuroPeristat data.
Thank you @efcniwecare for partnering to make this research more successful and meaningful. #PretermBirth

We are excited to be part of @PHIRI4EU to promote the exchange and use of population data in Europe with members of the #EuroPeristat network. The Covid-19 pandemic showed us how essential these exchanges are and how much we now fall short. @Epope_Inserm
Replying to @PHIRI4EU
The PHIRI use case C is focusing on the effects of the #COVID19 pandemic on maternal and newborn health. It has been presented by @JenniferZeitlin (@Epope_Inserm).

Our colleague @JenniferZeitlin (@Epope_Inserm) presented a study on lessons from country-level analyses of caesarean delivery and perinatal outcomes in Europe, which was conducted using the PHIRI federated data analysis protocol. #EPH2022

At @EPHconference, Marianne Philibert presented our new data collection protocol for #EuroPeristat. Better data harmonisation and quick production of anonymous aggregate tables. Hard work of network partners and by Marianne to test it in 29 countries! @Epope_Inserm @PHIRI4EU
Showcasing how the federated analysis works in the perinatal health setting. 22 common data models. Less than 2 h to test and run the scripts in 29 countries @Epope_Inserm @PHIRI4EU @EU_HIS_Unit

Thank you @EFCNIwecare for your support - without good statistics, we can’t find good solutions to reduce stillbirth in #Europe. We can and should do better. Thank you also to participants in the #EuroPeristat network for their efforts to improve perinatal health indicators.
Stillbirth is a major public health problem, but measurement remains a challenge even in high-income countries. A recently published study addressed this issue by comparing routine stillbirth statistics in #Europe ➡️bit.ly/3JlPn5V @JenniferZeitlin
