THUNDERBIRDS FALL SHORT IN FINALS | Looking back on the 2025-2026 Halifax Thunderbirds Season teapawt.net/i/broadcasts/1qGoNevPg…
Regardless of today’s outcome, it was a helluva season for the @HFXThunderbirds . Can’t deny that the future is bright for this squad.
It’s definitely a heartbreaking loss for the @HFXThunderbirds after dominating the first half but what a battle that was. The guys played their hearts out, especially in the 4th Q. @NLL Finals Game 1 was one for the history books. Game 2 in the Nest is going to be an all out war.
As much as we all knew they had the talent, it’s still so crazy to see @HFXThunderbirds punch their ticket to the @NLL finals. Take a bow, T-Birds!

A nine-goal second half comeback led us to a victory tonight⚡️
Re-Live all nine tallies that sent us to the Semis
Absolutely insane comeback win by the @HFXThunderbirds . Down 7-1 at the half and somehow take it 10-7. 🤯
And just like that the @HFXThunderbirds are headed to the post season. 12-6 the final.
Somehow nobody found the back of either net in the third quarter. Still 8-4 T-Birds heading into the final frame.

Shoutout to DJ Chad with the Levels Assist 😉
Boys keep the ball hot, and Jason Knox gets his second of the game
It's Knoxy Again! 🎯
A two-man advantage for the good guys, and @Leftybombz21 and @_jknox18 connect on a quick stick
4-2 HFX I 2:33 Q1
Another nail-biter in Halifax. @HFXThunderbirds with a strong showing but once again come up just short. 14-13 in OT. Helluva battle
Chirped nonstop behind enemy lines. But the Thunderbirds are back in the win column and that’s all that matters. @HFXSportsTalk

🥍 "They're probably as fired up as they've been to get in the win column; it's put up or shut up time."

Not exactly the outcome I had in mind but always good to watch NLL action live. It’s definitely time Edmonton gets back into the league if you ask me… @HFXSportsTalk
