Ecclesiastes 3:11 #gocomets

In the modern game, if you can’t hit an open three point shot then you’re a liability on the court. If you’re the best shooter on a team chances are you’re going to see the court

When choosing an AAU team and a college alike- go where you are WANTED, not where you are tolerated. That mean going to the Low Major that’s excited about you can often times be better than the mid major that’s roster you can sneak on. Your experience can be very dependent on it.

In a culture where the portal is a prevelant as it is, players are on new AAU teams every weekend, and transferring high schools is more common, really be diligent about analyzing the situation you’re going into vs the one you’re leaving. The grass will always look greener.

Treat every coach at every level with respect, the coaching world is small and they talk, an NCCAA assistant could be at a D1 in a couple years, and you never know what friends they have at school you may be interested in.

For guards and wings- skill sets are largely similar across all levels, if you want to seperate yourself, you have to eat sleep and breathe the weightroom

It doesn’t matter how good your team is, a coach can’t evaluate you if you’re not on the floor. Go where you will play and be featured!
